Creation

In the beginning, there was only the void, but it was not as empty as some believed. The void was conscious but alone. There was nothing else within that vast emptiness besides the echoing of his thoughts. It was these thoughts that gave rise to the creation of the void children. It appeared to the void that these thoughts took a life of their own as they bounced around, but they died before he could be certain. He began to wonder what would happen if those thoughts didn't die? Would they just continue to bounce around or would they gain consciousness of their own?

The void tried countless different ways to keep those thoughts alive, but nothing he did kept them around any longer than they have been before the idea struck him. Just as he was beginning to accept that there will never be anything more than him and his echoing thoughts, an idea hit him. In order to keep a thought alive, he needed to infuse it with his essence. He needed to give it consciousness not wait and see if consciousness grew. He took three distinct thoughts and planted a seed of his own essence in the middle of each, and waited to see what would happen.

Those seeds twisted and grew inside those thoughts, and when those thoughts started to fade away those seeds revived them. He watched as both those thoughts and seeds took a life of their own--each influenced by the other until the three became six. It was not just in consciousness that the three became six, but in form as well. Somehow each seed became separate from the thought they had been inside of, at least that is the easiest way to put it. The truth is that each seed and thought took their own distinct from that was independent of each other in every way, but every seed still had a connection with the thought they had dwelled inside.

It might even be said that each seed still lived within the thought they had been placed in, or that each thought still had the seed that had been placed inside it. However separate one might consider the seed from the thought, they became the six warlords that ruled over the other inhabitants that came to be within the void. The void doesn't know for certain how these other beings came to be. Perhaps when the seeds became separated from the thought small pieces of their essences dropped within the void and lives formed out of those, or perhaps when he first put those essences inside those thoughts he dropped some on the ground and those formed into these other life forms. It was possible that both theories were true or that neither was.

Either way, the void wasn't as empty as it once had been. The void along with his six children help shape this realm into what it became today, and they along with the other denizens of the void lived within that kingdom for eons beyond counting. However, deep within the void, something had been growing. When he had planted those seeds of essence within those thoughts all those time ago he had planted a different type of seed deep within his own core. It was nothing more than a small spark, but it grew as life within the void continued to grow until one day it burst free from him with a consciousness all her own.

This new being was light. She was his daughter as much as the six warlords, but there was something different about her. Her essence was different than theirs. They did not figure this out right away. First, the light became the queen of the void. She ruled alongside her husband for eons. She would not be the only queen he took, but she would be far the most important. Then one day, it became clear how she was different from his other children. She became pregnant with his child. None released that life could come about in this way, and the first six tried to bring forth a child in this manner to no avail.

She gave birth to a beautiful boy, who was loved by both his mother and father. The birth of her child sparked an idea in her mind. She began to wonder if she was able to give birth to her body if she was capable of giving birth with her mind, as well. After a few mishaps, it appeared that she was. She great the world Asmiara and a race called the witches to inhabit this planet. This world was not a dominion of the void. She pulled it free from the void, and this allowed this planet to be governed by a different set of rules than ones that the void followed.

She mimic void's kingdom in many ways when it came time to shaping her own creation. She created six concepts that she believed would help them thrive as people, but she also asked her siblings to oversee aspects of this new creation. She believed that their influence was just as important for the well being of her creation as the six concepts she created. She also knew that a creation like hers will need the energy to maintain, and knew that it would need to be brought into the void to recharge. She asked her six siblings to take upon this role--to be the ones that brought it back into the void because if they did not it would not just harm her creation but the very fabric of the void itself. This is how the void's first six children became known as destructive concepts.
