Packs
Most wolves live within packs through lone wolves do exist they are few and far between. Some say it is because living and working together is their nature others because it helps them survive and some say it comes from Ashir gathering like-minded people to him. Those who were also alone in the world or for those descendants from witches remain from clan mentality. No matter what the reason wolves tend to live in packs.
There are many packs, however, these smaller packs trace back to one of two main packs. The head of a pack is called the alpha and his mate is known as the Lupa. The alpha has leadership traits and others seem to naturally follow them. They are born leaders and are often chosen by the pack or the old alpha to take over the pack when they step down though sometimes dominance fights happen and a new alpha is chosen that way.

Legend
According to legend someday all wolves will be united under one ruler. This ruler will be the alpha to all and he will be known by his reflection in the mirror which is said to always show the form of the beast. Most people thought it just a story until Dallan Von was born with this very condition. Many believe he is the chosen one some believe he is just the key to finding that one. Only time will tell how much truth there is to these tales.
The Change
Nekare wolves first form was the wolf so they have the easiest time gaining and controlling all three forms. They also seem to be less likely to lose control of the rage while the opposite is true for Leidekker wolves. They started as witches and as such, they have a harder time gaining the pure wolf form and are more held by the moon and the beast. Making them more volatile than their counterparts.
Both kinds can change outside the moon but Nekare finds it easier to do and can avoid shifting during the full moon. Kids tend to have less control as do newly created wolves. Wolves can talk in all forms like a human and can communicate through their minds in pure wolf form.
Silver
Many wolves seem to have a reaction to silver. It seems less severe with the Nekare but it causes them pain. Some believe it is almost like an allergic reaction thus some people have a more severe response than others. In time tolerance can be built up.
Magic
Leidekker wolves seem more inclined to magic because of their high breed status coming from witches. Nekare can at times though it is not as common and if it does it tends to lean towards life magic or fire magic the two types that went into the creation of their kind. Though all wolves have a small form of telepathy that is only with each other in pure wolf form.
