The High Court is the court of Irial the high king of the eternal high king as it is now called. It is connected to lightning for that comes from the sky and is power and energy. It is the foundation of the fairy world. The High Court makes the laws and makes sure they are followed. They settle problems between courts and assist wherever they may be needed.
High Court fae are often among the prettiest fairies. They tend to have a high sense of balance and the natural order is very important to them. They are logical and fair-minded though they do expect their orders to be obeyed. The Fairy King or the King of Fairy is a new role along with the Prince of Fairy though that role did exist in some ways making some believe that Irial was prepared for this day to come.
